Cornerstone Questions
What day/time should I arrive to La Jolla?

If you are a member of the Venture Council, please plan to be on-site by October 1 at 3:00pm, as programming will begin that evening.

If you are not on the Venture Council, the event will begin on October 2 at 5:00 PM, so please plan to arrive before then on the 2nd.

What is the dress code for the weekend?

Suggested attire for the weekend is business casual. For Saturday’s capstone evening, jackets for men are encouraged.

Some events will be held outdoors, including happy hours and afternoon experiences.

We anticipate temperatures around 75°F during the day and 60°F at night, so please plan accordingly.

Is there a hotel room block I should book through?

We invite you to book your travel accommodations directly within IJM’s room block. You can book online here or call 844-848-1658 and reference the IJM Cornerstone Event.

If I live near the venue, should I still stay at the hotel?

If you prefer to commute to the venue each day instead of booking a hotel, you’re welcome to do so. However, our team recommends staying at the hotel to fully experience all that Cornerstone has to offer.

Who should I reach out to if I have questions about the weekend?

For general event inquiries or reservations, please contact us at cornerstone@ijm.org or reach out to your IJM donor representative.

What is the Cornerstone experience like?

The Cornerstone experience includes powerful sessions with IJM leaders, worship and guided reflection, meaningful connection with other guests, shared meals, and time to enjoy beautiful La Jolla.

Guests often describe it as a unique and inspiring weekend, coming together with kindred spirits, hearing real stories from the field, and feeling united as one team with a shared purpose.
