The Global Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) Summit 2025 is the world's leading forum on inclusive, open and trusted digital systems. Hosted in Cape Town, South Africa, from 4-6 November 2025, the second edition builds on the bold momentum of Cairo 2024, where over 100 countries gathered to shape a new era of digital cooperation.
The Summit convenes government leaders, technologists, development partners, civil society, and private sector actors around one shared goal: to accelerate the adoption of trustworthy DPI that works for everyone.
As digital transformation becomes central to delivering public services, DPI offers a pathway to inclusive development, economic resilience, and equitable service delivery.
Anchored in the African Union's priorities and South Africa's G20 Presidency theme "Solidarity, Equality, Sustainability," the Global DPI Summit 2025 brings together a global community building digital foundations that empower all.
Entry requirements for short-term visitors to South Africa may vary depending on the traveller's nationality. It's essential to note that South Africa welcomes visitors from all countries. For comprehensive information, kindly refer to the following link:
