Global Full-Time Roles

In order to be eligible for relocation, your site placement location must be at minimum 50+ miles (US) or 40+ kilometers from your home address on file.
If you are eligible to receive relocation based on your offer letter, Graebel will send you an email confirming your relocation eligibility and next steps. You will receive instructions to fill out details through Graebel’s online portal. This email is sent 30-60 days before your start date.
Amazon's Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, and Delivery Stations run 24/7 operations. Shifts and hours vary depending on business need. Your manager will send you your assigned schedule close to your start date.

A typical weekly schedule is four days on with three days off. Shifts do vary by site type and location but the most typical structure is either a front half of the week schedule or back half of the week. The front half of the week is Sunday-Wednesday and the back half of the week is Wednesday-Saturday. These typical shift patterns tend allow you to have at least on standard weekend day off. The shift patterns above are also split by day shifts and night shifts. While not guaranteed, it is good to keep in mind that it is very common to be placed on nights at some point when supporting Operations.
You will have a chance to attend AD1 Orientation along with other newly hired Area Manages from various regions. You will receive a Welcome Email from the AD1 team with details about your orientation, a couple weeks before your start date. If US based you will also receive information to schedule travel to the orientation location. Canada and Europe based employees will attend AD1 virtually.
Yes, absolutely! Be sure to let your manager know about your upcoming full-time Area Manager role and resign from your temporary role no later than two weeks before your start date. When making this decision it is important to keep in mind that any performance or disciplinary actions that may occur while you are employed with Amazon as a part-time employee could impact your full-time offer.
Our Operations buildings are very casual environments and there is no uniform. Area Managers typically wear items like jeans, t-shirts and sweatshirts. You will on your feet and walking around the majority of the time so you want to be comfortable. There are some safety related items you will also need such as specific types of shoes and high-visibility vests which you will learn more about during onboarding.
Drug test scheduling emails are usually sent out 60 days before your start date. The drug test is usually scheduled at the closest Quest (Our drug test vendor) location to the home address Amazon has on file. If you think you may be traveling during that time, please reach out to your recruiter to let them know the dates you will be out of town and they will notify the drug testing team. If you receive the email and won’t be able to make the appointment before the deadline, please also reach out to your recruiter to submit a reschedule request.
Background check results are valid for 90 days. If for any reason your start date was pushed back and you completed a background check 90 days or more before your new start date, you are required to complete a new background check.
